I want to wish VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR !!

Posted by Scholastica Ees on Wednesday, December 30, 2009 in , ,

I want to wish VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR, one that is full of every blessing that the Universe can bestow upon you, and all for your Highest Good.

I recognize that the world is in turmoil, and some of you may be feeling helpless and overwhelmed by it all. Perhaps 2010 will be just as challenging as 2009 turned out to be...if we do nothing. me myself, plan to be positive and concrete about changing the energy in me...i want to be more positive about the way things end up...and be a new me..

At this time of year, many of us are thinking about making New Year's Resolutions to change things that haven't been working for us for in a long while. I Have made a list of the ways in which I’d like to change myself...

For my Body

# 1. Reduce my caffeine intake : There’s nothing like saying “You can’t” to make me crave things more. But yesterday wasn’t so bad—decaf green tea (which does have a little caffeine) and a little bit of chocolate (hurmm...putting more fat on my body duh...)

I’m headachy and sleepy around the edges, but I think that’s the cold that’s brewing.

Today, I only had one cup of coffee. Usually I have about four or five lol :-p

# 2. Reducing sugar.... in ....my tea &coffee from half a tea-spoon to zero (well, you cant imagine the taste of  sugarless coffee!)

#3. Substituting my mid-morning snack with a piece of fruit, rather than a snack bar..bye2 kerupuk!

#4.Not eating between meals -other than my 'authorised' mid-morning and mid-afternoon snacks)

#5. drink plenty of water!! - in progress!

#6. Limiting my portion size when I eat (from gunung kinabalu to gunung emas :-p)

#7. Eating healthy foods (fruits, lean meats, whole grains) and cutting refined sugars (soft drinks)

#8. Running at least 3 times a week with at least one workout at night

#9. Cross training at least 2 days a week with stretching, yoga, or cycling.

uuuww... cycling @sunset would be very much fun!

For "Them"

#1. Be a forgiver

#2. Be a good daughter

#3. Be a good sister

#4. Be a good fiance (i'm not saying i'm not good at being a fiance! i am damn good at it... hehe)

#5. Be a good friend

#6. Be a good worker ... yes, wake up @ 5.30 and reach office before 8! ;-)

#7. Be a good student...  my supervisor lent me his articles and i have to finish reading it.. fast fast!!! (sorry for being soooo 'lambat' Dr.. huhu)

#8. Be a good listener .. FYI, i am not a very good listener..sorry kalau selama ni ada yang terasa..:-(

For this Country

#1. Vote (because i never vote...huhu)

#2. Be a good citizen (as ever)
sorry Najib! but well thats all i can offer for now...maybe after this saya akan berusaha untuk menyumbang kepada dasar 20juta penduduk :-))  :-p

For Me Myself & I

#1. Bully my hairdressser into a style I like

#2. Travel someplace where its snowing

#3. Win something. Anything!

#4. Learn some guitar

#5. buy new lense for my DSLR

#6. learn more technique on photography

flower .! what do you think? ada peluang kah kawan?

i consider ME MYSELF as simply synonym for coffee cup + bokeh photography..hehe..

#7. get a facial / body massage (never had one...hmmm..)
I wonder what would I look like if i had one?
.........................................
Like this??
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.

(sila jangan ketawa kerana ini cuma kes angan2 Mak Joyah)

and

last but not least..

********* Do things instead of making lists *********

I know there are loads of numbers missing and a little  too ambitious (too much ) I think but Maybe I’ll fill them in as I tick things off.

By the time I actually  (Hopefully) do all of this stuff I ought to be pretty sorted.

Happy New Year!!

~cheers~

FORMULA KELETIHAN BERGANDA

Posted by Scholastica Ees on Tuesday, December 29, 2009 in , , ,

Selepas 2 hari bercuti sempena Krismas + sabtu +ahad = 4 hari kesemuanya, saya telah merungut kerana kurang tidur , penat dan terlalu banyak tekanan dalam hidup.. saya jadi malu sendiri dgn perasaan jujur yang lahir dari hati yang suci bersih (heheheheh) kerana ternyata kerja saya di opis bukanla banyak sgt hujung2 tahun ni.... setelah menelaah beberapa teks rujukan dan berfikir panjang, akhirnya saya jumpa sebab kenapa ianya berlaku :

(formula keletihan berganda)
keletihan kerana terlebih kerja... tau kenapa?

Jadi tinggal 21.3 juta orang.

1.3 juta pula adalah golongan kanak² bawah 6 tahun.

Jadi tinggal 20 juta orang.

Mana saya X letih!!

Jadi sedarlah skit kamo....

HAHA

Biggest Loser!!

Posted by Scholastica Ees on Friday, December 18, 2009 in , ,

Was watching Biggest Loser Asia and one contestant has been eliminated Cikgu Aishah (KL) red team..last week episode has been a rough week for the red team.. two of the contestant from red team has  to quit. some contestant from the Philiphines (cant recall his name) didn't have the strength to face the challenge..(i think :-P), while del have to quit for the sake of his health.. i kinda like him...and that's the main demotivating factors for the red team...
This the second week show on tv an d At this week’s challenge, the contestants find themselves having to  dodge paintball bullets while a member of the opposite team aims for the kill. The team with the least amount of paintball hits, wins. Fighting strong, the blue team proves to be quite the marksmen as they eventually win with a score of 5 hits to 1, earning themselves a fun filled bowling reward at “A Famosa’s Cowboy Town”. And after all the hard work and the determination(i on that has been shows by the contestant, Tony (Philippines) from Blue Team didn't loose a single KG!
"i can see how frustrated he is" geee.. i wonder if it happen to me...huhu!!

He and the rest of his team are now forced to deliberate who from the blue team must be sent home. A few members of the team are concerned for whether or not they’re safe: Tony, for losing 0 kilos at the weigh-in and Damietha, who despite losing 3 kilos, knows that her ankle injury is slowing her down. The team agrees that whatever the outcome, the voting will be done with integrity and that it should not be taken personally. In a surprising turn of events, Goddess has an intense, emotional blow up at her teammates and starts venting her frustrations on feeling like the outcast from day 1. she claims she has been voted off because it is based on a popularity vote and accuses the team of deliberately alienating her. Sarimah eventually interrupts what seems to be an endless conversation and asks Goddess to leave. In the parting words of Leonore “Goddess” Llamas: “I knew this was going to be a popularity vote, not based on performance… blue team, if you guys lose, you’ll know one of the reasons why, you voted the wrong girl out too early.”
With 13 contestants remaining, who will be Asia’s First Biggest Loser?

Desk Mess template (Blogger) comes under a Creative Common License. This means it is free to use on your blog as long as the credit link in the footer is kept intact. Geek With Laptop has really put so much effort on designing this template, so if possible you can pay a visit to the site and leave a thankful comment!

    Artistic yet standard loading speed

Most people are disappointed with the artistic template, mainly because its high resolution graphic that decreases the page loading speeds tremendously. Desk Mess is a good choice for who aims for artistic view while demanding a standard page loading speed. I personally give this template a thumb up, how about you? I’m sure to be the first to hear your comment about this template, thanks! rebloged: falcon

Free Web Design Published October 12th, 2008 in Galleries http://vandelaydesign.com/blog

Web designers often browse through portfolio websites of other designers for inspiration and ideas that can be used in their own work. Photographers, like designers, have a need to display an attractive portfolio for their websites visitors, and many photographers have excellent portfolio sites. In this post I’d like to take a look at 25 of the best. This collection is based on the quality of the portfolio site itself, not necessarily the work being displayed inside the portfolio.
